Check2Crypto overview

Check2Crypto allows eligible customers to upload checks online and request a payout in USDC or ETH after verification, check review, approval, and applicable settlement procedures.

Subject to eligibility, check verification, compliance review, and applicable law.

What the Product Does

Check2Crypto is a regulated money services offering from ALMOST A BANK, LLC. Eligible customers use the online application to submit check information, complete identity and compliance review, and—if approved after applicable check-clearing procedures—receive a payout in a supported digital asset such as USDC or ETH to a confirmed wallet address.

Digital asset payout infrastructure for eligible checks. Upload. Verify. Receive supported crypto payouts after review and approval.

Supported Payout Assets

The product currently supports payout requests in:

  • USDC — USD-pegged stablecoin subject to issuer, network, and market risks
  • ETH — Ethereum network native asset subject to price volatility and network risks

Asset availability may depend on jurisdiction, compliance review, operational requirements, and applicable law. Digital asset payouts are available only where legally permitted.

Eligible Check Types

Check2Crypto accepts the following check categories, subject to verification, fraud review, compliance approval, amount limits, and applicable law. Not every check within a category will qualify.

  • Personal checks — Checks drawn on an individual's personal bank account, submitted by the authorized account holder or payee as required by policy.
  • Business checks — Checks drawn on a business operating account, submitted by an authorized signer after business (KYB) verification.
  • Government checks — Checks issued by a U.S. federal, state, or local government agency, subject to enhanced verification and eligibility rules.

Cashier's checks, money orders, third-party checks, and other instruments may be declined unless expressly permitted in the application. Amount limits, hold periods, and documentation requirements vary by check type.

Verification Requirements

Customers may be required to complete:

  • Identity verification (KYC) or business verification (KYB)
  • Proof of ownership or authorization related to the check
  • Source-of-funds or supporting documentation
  • Sanctions and AML screening
  • Additional information requested during compliance review

Review and Approval Process

Each submission undergoes check verification, fraud review, compliance screening, and internal approval workflows. Approval is not guaranteed. ALMOST A BANK, LLC may decline, delay, or request additional information for any submission.

Payout Timing

Payout timing depends on identity verification, check verification, fraud review, AML/KYC review, compliance approval, check-clearing procedures, network conditions, and operational factors. Payouts are not instant and are not guaranteed.

Fees

Check2Crypto charges a 6% service fee on the approved check amount, plus a check processing fee per submission. Combined service and processing fees are subject to a $5.00 USD minimum per transaction. Blockchain network fees may apply separately. See the Fees page for the full schedule and examples.

Unsupported Uses

Check2Crypto may not be used for fraudulent, illegal, or prohibited activities. See the Prohibited Use Policy. Services are not available in all jurisdictions.
